CV 124 is a high solids, low VOC, quick drying, matt polyurethane hybrid transparent varnish, based on the polymer technology of the CA8300 HS CARC Polyurethane Series. The cured varnish is lightweight, has exceptional durability and ultra violet light resistance combined with excellent resistance to aircraft fluids, including Skydrol. CV124 has been designed for use as a protective varnish for application over polyurethane paint systems on the exterior of aircraft, as an edge sealer for decals, as a protective varnish over primed surfaces on the structural interior of airframes, and as a varnish to protect part markings applied to coated components.
