PPG CV123 is a high solids, low VOC, quick drying, high gloss polyurethane hybrid varnish, based on the polymer technology of CA8300 HS CARC Polyurethane Series.

The cured varnish combines exceptional gloss retention and ultra violet light resistance with excellent resistance to aircraft fluids, including Skydrol.

PPG CV123 has been designed for use as a protective varnish for application over polyurethane paint systems on the exterior of aircraft, as an edge sealer for decals, as a protective varnish over primed surfaces on the structural interior of airframes, and as a varnish to protect part markings applied to coated components.
